The local style star is set to open up her closet — a curated selection of it, at least — for fashion fans to buy during a limited-time sale through Vancouver-headquartered designer resale store Mine & Yours.
Taking place Sept. 13-16 at the Kitsilano location (2061 W 4th Ave.), the selection of items will also be available online while supplies last.
As a fashion creative, Brahman says she’s “constantly sourcing and experimenting with style.” Resale, she notes, allows her to keep her collection feeling fresh.
“While my wardrobe is always evolving, these pieces remain just as special — they’re items I’ve truly loved and lived in, and they deserve a second chapter with someone new,” she says of the collection of pieces set for the sale, which include items designer handbags, outerwear and more. “That’s the beauty of resale and vintage or archival designer: It keeps fashion in motion, allowing us to refresh and reinterpret our closets in a more thoughtful way.”
This isn’t the first time Mine & Yours has hosted a closet sale with a local fashion content creator. Business owner Courtney Watkins says she’s noticed an uptick in the number of influencers who are eager to host a similar kind of sale with the company.
“We’re seeing more influencers and content creators wanting to sell their closets sustainably with us,” Watkins says. “It’s exciting to witness this shift where creators care not only about style, but also about giving new life to pieces that would otherwise sit unworn.
“It’s a powerful step toward making sustainability the standard in fashion.”
