Summer Fridays Blush Butter Balm Hydrating Cream Blush with Peptides.

Summer Fridays Blush Butter Balm Hydrating Cream Blush with Peptides

They say: A buttery blush formula from Summer Fridays that features skin-caring ingredients such as ceramides, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and a trio of butters to plump and smooth skin while also adding an effortless flush of colour. Available in six “dewy” shades.

We say: This blush butter is, in a word, fabulous. Our testers applied the petite pots of colour with both fingertips and a brush and found it blended beautifully. Offering nice pop with a small amount, it was also easy to build up for a more dramatic effect. We also loved it layered underneath a powder blush formula for some extra colour and staying power.

We say: These picture-perfect eyeshadow palettes offer a pretty collection of shades. Easy to apply — after you get over the idea of running a brush the embossed detail, of course — the selection of shades on offer in each compact makeup case allow for a variety of makeup looks to be created.

Medik8 Crystal Retinal Serum 1.

Medik8 Crystal Retinal Serum 1

They say: A night serum from the brand Medik8, which recently started shipping to Canada, this vitamin A product feature a patented “retinal stability system” to deliver increased effectiveness and potency, according to the brand.

We say: After reading the promise to “reveal younger-looking skin with just one tube,” our tester was excited to try this serum release. New to retinol products, our tester noted this option was gentle on skin, yet also effective. With continued use, she noted an overall improvement in the appearance of areas of concern, such as dark spots and fine lines.
