We try dozens of beauty products each month. These were our testers’ three favourite launches this week:

Guerlain Abeille Royale Bee Lab Shot

Guerlain Abeille Royale Bee Lab Shot

They say: An innovative skin care treatment from Guerlain. The new addition to the Abeille Royale collection features crystallized spheres made with a high concentration of Black Bee honey from Trøgstad. Applied with the brand’s Youth Watery Oil Serum (sold separately), the treatment promises to reveal “fresher and brighter” skin.

We say: This treatment gave our tester’s summer-weary skin a noticeable boost. Applied over seven days, as suggested, the formula left her skin feeling revived, hydrated and appearing less dull.

Lancôme Skin Idôle 3 Serum Supertint.

Lancôme Skin Idôle 3 Serum Supertint

They say: A lightweight tinted serum that promises buildable coverage and a 24-hour glow. Skin-caring ingredients such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E combine in the tinted formula to plump and hydrate skin while subtly perfecting the appearance skin.

We say: A skin tint for those who hate the feeling of makeup, this lightweight formula corrects skin tone, while also adding a veil of radiance. Available in 20 shades, our tester loved the radiant finish of this formula. It blurs imperfections without leaving a trace.

$60 | Lancome, Sephora

Briogeo Supreme Shine Strengthening & Styling Oil.

Briogeo Style + Treat Supreme Shine Strengthening & Styling Oil

They say: A gloss-to-oil styling product that’s formulated for thick hair (the brand also has a version for fine to medium hair called the Smoothing Weightless Hair Oil). Yuzu extract, plum oil and the brand’s moisture complex combine to provide heat protection, shine and strength.

We say: This styling oil offers shine and hold for unruly strands. Our tester applied this like a styling cream to dried strands and found it tamed flyaways, smoothed curls and added a noticeable shine to hair. A little goes a long way.

$38 | Sephora
