Local runners can rejoice, the SeaWheeze Half Marathon and Sunset Festival is set to return in 2026.
First held in 2012, the last in-person SeaWheeze event happened in 2019. The Vancouver-headquartered company attempted two more virtual iterations after that before officially pulling the plug on the popular event in 2022.
“Our guests have been asking for this race since the last one in 2019, and honestly, we’ve been just as eager to bring it back,” says Kara Schlosser, VP of North America Community at Lululemon. “We can’t wait for our guests to experience everything they know and love about SeaWheeze all over again — and for new guests to feel the energy of it for the first time.”
Sticking to its previous format, the 2026 half-marathon and after-party festival event will feature performances and limited-edition Lululemon gear.
