In a bombshell reveal, entrepreneur Andrew Cabot told People magazine via a spokesperson that he and his wife, Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s now-former chief human resources officer, already had separated at the time the video went viral of her and ex-Astronomer head honcho Andy Byron.

According to the spokesperson, the Cabots “were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert” near Boston.

She noted: “Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”

The spokesperson also added “no further public comment will be made.”

Andrew Cabot, 61, is the CEO of Privateer Rum.

He has two kids from a previous marriage, People reported, while he and Kristin do not share children.

Kristin, 52, and Byron were captured on camera cozying up at the July 16 concert. Nearly a month later, on Aug. 13, she filed a divorce petition.

Once their identities were quickly outed, it emerged that Byron was married to Megan Kerrigan Byron — who removed her married name from her Facebook page following the scandal.

During the gig at Gillette Stadium, the kiss-cam made its way around the venue before settling on the couple mid-embrace.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin thought the camera had captured a sweet moment, saying, “Look at these two.”

But once the pair realized they were on camera, the two quickly tried to duck out of the shot, confusing Martin.

“Oh, what?” the “Yellow” singer said, before joking to the crowd, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Prior to the almost-immediate backlash, Martin said, “Holy s***. I hope we didn’t do something bad.”

Byron resigned from his position at Astronomer days after the public ordeal, with Cabot following suit soon after.
