Table of Hollywood stars, comedians enjoy dinner party at Vancouver restaurant

Oh to be a fly on the wall at Vancouver restaurant Lunch Lady last night.

The popular Vietnamese restaurant was the site of a dinner table full of Hollywood actor-comedians. And we’re sure the conversation skewed pretty funny.

American actor-comedian Nick Kroll, who was in town for The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, shared a photo to his Instagram account that captured the meal.

“Such a fun night and great show at @greatoutdoorscf in Vancouver. Jason and Zach were in town for a Greek festival, or so I assume. So glad we were all able to meet up for a delicious meal at @thelunchlady. Just lovely! Thank you to all the truly fantastic and well-behaved Canadian crowds this summer!” Kroll wrote on the social media platform. 

Kroll was joined at the local eatery by The Hangover’s Zach Galifianakis, The Good Life comedian Mike Birbiglia, event headlining comedian John Mulaney, Portlandia star Fred Armisen, and actor-comedian Jason Mantzoukas.

The restaurant, located at 1046 Commercial Dr., is a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand eatery that serves up Vietnamese street food inspired by the late famed The Lunch Lady of Saigon, Nguyen Thi Thanh. Read our review of Lunch Lady, originally published in July 2020, HERE. 

The team from the local restaurant replied to Kroll’s post, commenting “Thank you so much coming!”
