All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
Wizards and muggles alike are invited to experience a magical Harry Potter walk-through experience, coming to Vancouver’s Stanley Park this fall.
Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience will make its Canadian debut on Nov. 7, following hugely popular stagings in the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, France and the United States that drew more than 2 million visitors.
The nighttime walk-through experience will take Potterheads through the iconic Forbidden Forest, depicted in both the books and the films, bringing fans up close to familiar figures like Hippogriffs and Nifflers throughout a transformed Stanley Park. Visitors will also have the chance to practice casting their own spells.
“We are thrilled to bring this enchanting journey to the Canadian market,” said Annie-Lou St-Amant, regional manager with Fever Originals Canada, who has partnered with Warner Brothers and Rifflandia Entertainment to bring the Harry Potter experience to Vancouver.
“This experience will be a must-visit event for Vancouverites and tourists alike.”
The trail will bring visitors to a themed village where food and drink from the Harry Potter world will be available, along with a gift shop selling official HP merch.

The walk-through experience kicks off Nov. 7 for a limited time. Tickets for the event go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 10 but those who are itching to ‘Accio tickets!’ can get on the wait-list by registering online.
Timed entry tickets start at $49.50 for adults, and the experience lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
The Harry Potter franchise began with a seven-book series that later spawned an eight-film juggernaut starring Daniel Radcliffe as the boy wizard who takes on the dark Lord Voldemort. The character has been immortalized in theme parks, books, clothing, costumes and more, becoming one of the highest earning media franchises in history.
